Elegant gentleman’s hip flask with sterling silver mounts, hallmarked London 1927, maker’s mark G S (George Stockwell). • Engine-turned silver cup and threaded cap, both stamped .925 with lion passant & leopard’s head. • Cup and cap together weigh 60.7 grams of sterling silver (approx). • Glass body has vertical ribbed panels. Condition: silver mounts are in good antique order with light wear; the glass body has cracks and small losses near the base (see photos). Selling as found for display or silver content rather than use, however it does not leak when filled with water. Measurements: about 16 cm tall × 8 cm wide × 2.5cm deep. A stylish Art Deco flask from London’s inter-war years.
